What’s the Job?

In this newly formed role, the Special Projects Manager will lead enterprise-wide projects primarily focused on scaling our technology and operational systems and driving our growth initiatives. The Director of Special Projects must be a tech savvy, detail-oriented and action-oriented project manager.  Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Special Projects Manager will collaborate closely with all members of the DRG team in learning our processes and leading enterprise-wide projects designed to maximize efficiencies, help our team do their jobs as effectively as possible, and facilitate the continuous improvement of services we provide to our clients.

An early and critical focus for the Special Projects Manager will be leading the scoping, evaluation, selection, customization, and implementation of a new CRM—one that will allow to DRG to seamlessly and effectively manage its business development, client and candidate tracking, and project implementation. Other projects will focus on marketing, internal SOPs and development of an internship program, as well as internal culture and engagement.


Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a high-energy team player who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, listens and learns, is a ”go getter” who pushes projects forward expeditiously and has a passion for working with nonprofit organizations. The Special Projects Manager must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects with many deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and be a great listener and quick learner. This is a position for someone with a superior work ethic and a strong sense of accountability who has approximately 4-6 years’ experience in project management and business process implementations.
