DRG is embarking on a period of growth and expansion of our team. We are looking for outstanding professionals who want the opportunity to help us build, grow and develop our work as a leader in Talent consulting for the non-profit sector.  Currently, we are seeking candidates for the position of Search Consultant.  Search Consultants are leaders in our Executive Search business, and have 3 key areas of responsibility:

  1. Manage and direct full search cycles with an emphasis on advising and guiding clients through the search process, developing candidates, and working with other DRG team members and specifically the Practice Leader to deliver high quality service to our clients and candidates throughout the search.
  2. Create, implement, and track a unique business development plan. DRG welcomes candidates who are interested in entering the field of Executive Search, and who are inspired and excited by the opportunity to build and grow a practice. We welcome consultants who come with pre-existing business networks and are committed to being part of a collaborative team environment.
  3. Work with other DRG search consultants and DRG senior management to continually shape, market, and grow DRG’s presence and prominence in the Non-Profit and Executive Search communities.


Candidate Profile

Successful candidates for the role of Consultant will ideally have experience building and leveraging networks and the drive to engage with current, former, and potential clients on an on-going and strategic basis. We are looking for someone to join our team who is a natural connector,who is motivated and excited about growing and developing their own social media footprint, and who enjoys developing relationships with people one-on-one.

A successful Consultant candidate will be a self-starter who demonstrates the emotional quotient, communication and facilitation skills needed to guide non-profit Boards and leadership through complex and critical conversations. We are also looking for a Consultant that brings a positive outlook on life, a sense of humor, and a can-do attitude.

Candidates should have the following:

  • Excellent writing and project management skills.
  • Outstanding track record of meeting deadlines, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • A passion for mission-driven organizations; some understanding of non-profit Boards helpful.
  • Interest in being out in the community both locally and nationally.
  • Experience recruiting, assessing and attracting talent.
  • Entrepreneurial, a self-starter and a growth mind-set.
