Alison Brinkley-Badgett – appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Petey Greene Program (PGP)

We are pleased to announce that Alison Brinkley-Badgett has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Petey Greene Program (PGP). She will be responsible for overseeing all Petey Greene programs, fundraising, marketing, branding, strategic planning, personnel, and administrative functions. Brinkley-Badgett will also be responsible for being the spokesperson of the organization.

The Petey Greene Program (PGP) supplements education in jails, prisons, and detention centers, by preparing volunteers to provide free, quality tutoring and related programming to support the academic achievement of incarcerated people. PGP builds strong and sustainable partnerships with universities and prisons, jails, and detention centers across the Northeast. PGP volunteers work in jail and prison classrooms, supporting students who are working toward their high school diplomas, high school equivalency, or college coursework.
